yes, awesome. glad this finally arrived this week. this is the first pressing of The Dead Weather's first single Hang You From The Heavens from their upcoming full length Horehound. b side contains a cover of Gary Numan's Are 'Friends' Electric ? this is also the first official release from Jack White's new label Third Man Records. this may warrant another trip to Nashville because i wanna check out that vinyl shop hes got going in their. this seems like a really good thing for all the people involved in this project. it has a freshness to it that the raconteurs always lacked for me. stoked for this record and the tour later in summer. i like Jack White on drums. also, Baby Ruthless is probably the best rock n roll pseudonym i've ever heard.

Mucha inspired digital illustration

in my digital illustration class we had to create a piece inspired by the work of the art nouveau master Alphonse Mucha. we had to use our own photography and our own model, so i decided that since i had all those good PJ Harvey shots from last month's show at the El Rey i might as well use em. the critique went well.
